1. Introduction

Welcome to Todah (app.todah). Todah (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By downloading or using Todah, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly: account details (name, email address, password), profile information (display name, avatar), the preferences and tradition you choose, your prayer-journal entries, and any messages you send our support team. Your journal entries are private to you.

Information collected automatically: usage data (devotionals opened, plans in progress, streak history, in-app navigation), device data (model, OS version, identifiers, IP address, network information) and app diagnostics (crash logs and performance data via Firebase Crashlytics).

Information from third parties: if you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name and email; RevenueCat processes subscription payments and shares only your subscription status, we never store card details; Google AdMob may use advertising identifiers to serve ads in the free tier.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to create and manage your account, personalise devotional and plan recommendations, track your progress and streak, send transactional and optional notification emails, process subscriptions via RevenueCat, show ads in the free tier via Google AdMob, keep the app stable and secure, and comply with our legal obligations.

4. Third-Party Services & SDKs

Todah integrates the following third-party services, each operating under its own privacy policy: Supabase (authentication, database and storage), Firebase Analytics (usage analytics), Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting), Google AdMob (in-app advertising), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple (authentication).

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with the service providers above who process data on our behalf, where required by law or to protect rights and safety, and in the event of a merger or acquisition with prior notice to you.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain it longer.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete (“right to be forgotten”), and port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to opt out of personalised advertising via your device settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Todah is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers & LGPD

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own; where required we apply safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses consistent with GDPR and LGPD.

If you are in Brazil, you have rights under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD): access, correction, deletion, portability and information about sharing. Our legal bases include contract performance, legitimate interest and, where required, consent. Contact support@todah.app to exercise them.

11. Changes & Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
